Federation Focus: Zambia Baseball Softball Association spreading game with Baseball5 and int'l support

Softball was introduced to the country in the early 1970s by foreign workers in the Copper Belt Province. Baseball came in the 1980s thanks to Cuban medical doctors. Activity had almost ceased in the country before WBSC introduced Baseball5 in early 2019.

Federation Focus: Guatemalan Softball finding place on global stage behind ASOSOFT

Guatemalan softball is on a roll having competed in back-to-back WBSC men's junior world championships while in 2020, the Central American country had their highest-ever finish on the global stage, placing sixth at the WBSC Men's U-18 Softball World Cup.

Federation Focus: Baseball5 gives new impetus to development in Tunisia

Tunisia was the first Arabic country to play baseball and lived its golden age in the 1980s but suffered a crisis in the early 1990s. Thanks to the introduction of Baseball5, the federation is now making a comeback.
