The V WBSC Congress is to be held in electronic format.
The WBSC Executive Board approved a proposal to modify the WBSC Statutes, which included recommendations to:
- further consolidate the merge process initiated 10 years ago with the creation of the WBSC by discontinue the Divisions of Baseball and Softball and replace them by two additional permanent Commissions for Baseball and Softball that will be created with the aim to respect their communities and grow further these Disciplines worldwide;
- give more consistency to our rules and use right terminology in our statutes; and
- improve further the WBSC Governance.
Other important topics are part of the agenda, such as the report of the President which encompass the major updates and milestones from the last Congress until today, and the approval of last Congress Minutes, Membership updates and 2022 Audited Financial Statements.
We encourage our Members to carefully read all the shared documents and to ratify the important proposals submitted by the WBSC Executive Board.
