Hong Kong defeated Indonesia in the last game of the first round of the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship and left its opponents the fifth position in the Group B.
A single by Ching and an error by Indonesian leftfielder gave Hong Kong a sudden 2-0 lead.
Indonesia was able to tie with a run in the fourth, with the crucial help from the defense, that made 3 errors, and a run in the seventh, out of two singles and a wild pitch by Mak.
The seventh is also the inning of the Hong Kong winning run, that came from a single down the right line by Ng Yan Ching, after Wen’s walk and Wong’s single.
