In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Mexico defeated Italy 19-0 in Chihuahua, on the last day of the first round of the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship.
The locals’ favorites make it clear from the very start of the game they were not going to present any gift and scored 9 times during the first offensive inning, with some help from the Italian defense that committed 3 errors.
Mexico scored in all the innings, leading the game to an early end with the final score of 19-0, and sent Team Italy to the Parral round, where the teams compete for the positions between 7th and 12th.
