The Baseball Association of Thailand hosted a Baseball5 tournament in Lopburi

The Lopburi Province has seen a lot of Baseball5 action. The tournament was open to boys’ girls’ and co-ed teams. A total of 50 games were played by the 21 participating teams. The tournament was used to select participants to the World Children Baseball Fair

The Baseball Association of Thailand organized a Baseball5 tournament that involved 21 teams in the U-15 and U-13 age brackets. The games were hosted by the Third Municipal School Gymnasium in the city of Lopburi, 150 chilometers north of the Nation’s Capital Bangkok.

Care Road Temple school won the U-15 tournament as they defeated, 5-4, in the final the hosts Lopburi Third Municipal school. Lopburi Military Kindergarten school finished third.

Lopburi Military Kindergarten school won the U-13 tournament as they won, 8-7, the final against Chainatpittayakom School. Ban Darb Temple school earned third place.

A total of 50 games were played by boys and girls.
The Baseball Association of Thailand used the tournament to select participants to the World Children Baseball Fair.

“Baseball5 has gained a lot of interest in many schools around of the Asian Country, especially in the Lopburi Province” commented Parkpoom Pronpudpong of the Baseball Association of Thailand.
