Brujos de los Tuxtlas (MEX) win I Latin American Series

Brujos de los Tuxtlas (Mexico) has won the inaugural edition of the annual Latin American Series.

Brujos de los Tuxtlas (Mexico) has won the inaugural edition of the annual Latin American Series.

The champions from LIV (Mexico), LCBP (Colombia), LNBP (Nicaragua) and PROBEIS (Panama) participated in the tournament, which was held in Veracruz, Mexico at the beginning of February.

Brujos won the final against the Tigres de Chinandega (Nicaragua) thanks to a 1-0 shutout.

The tournament was played in a double elimination format. The Tigres won its first two games to advance directly to the championship game.

Brujos lost the opener to the Tigres and had to defeat Caimanes de Barranquilla (Colombia) and Caballos de Cocle (Panama) en route to the final.
