Czech Republic wins U12 European Championship

The Czech Republic has won the U12 European Championship in Hluboka/Zliv, Czech Republic. They defeated Russia 19-1 in the championship game to defend their title. Lithuania finished in third place after beating Israel in the bronze medal game.

The Czech Republic has won the U12 European Championship in Hluboka/Zliv, Czech Republic. They defeated Russia 19-1 in the championship game to defend their title. Lithuania finished in third place after beating Israel in the bronze medal game.

In total eight teams participated in the tournament from July 9 to 13, 2012. The Czech Republic and Russia marched through the first rounds undefeated to meet in the finals. Austria, Belarus, Slovenia and Romania also participated.
