Google, MLB partnership and Clemente Google Doodle will help boost baseball’s exposure worldwide

MLB and Google are giants in the respective indistries and their partnership is going to boost baseball’s visibility throughout the world. The Assistant, that serves over 500 million devices, will be presenting sponsor of the League Championship Series

Two giants in their respective industries – Google and Major League Baseball (MLB) – have joined forces.
The two announced partnership that will feature the Google Assistant across MLB platforms and ballparks during MLB’s playoffs.

And today, Google launched a Google Doodle in honour of Puerto Rican baseball legend Roberto Clemente, showcasing Clemente and his iconic baseball image to potentially hundreds of millions of users.

Google and MLB also will collaborate to build original content programming, showcasing how baseball fans around the world will be amplifying their own MLB playoff experiences by using the Assistant anywhere they are. Today more than 500 million devices are served by the Assistant.

“Baseball fans everywhere can tap the Google Assistant to quickly and conveniently stay up-to-date on their favorite teams, players, and games – just by using their voice,” explained Flavia Simon, Director of Brand and Growth, Google Assistant.
