It's always baseball/softball season somewhere: Hong Kong softball leagues set to open
The season will open on Sunday, 24 October and will run to 13 December.
The Hong Kong (China) Softball Association (HKSA) has announced the start of their men’s and women’s softball leagues. Opening Day is this Sunday, the 24th of October, with the season slated to run to the 13th of December.
The five-team Men’s A Super league will open with two games on Sunday: J’S will take on Sphinx-A, while SCAA-T hosts SCAA-A. The Pandas will make their debut on the 1st of November against Sphinx-A.
The Women’s A league will also start this Sunday with a pair of contests. The Hotungnians will play against Steel, while TB will face the Joker in the second match. Next weekend, SCAA-Diamond will play Steel, while Sieger takes on SCAA-Topaz.
Currently, Hong Kong sits at 19th in WBSC Men’s Softball World Rankings and 39th in women’s softball.
