Korea's Man-soo Lee growing the game in Laos, helps launch men's, women's national baseball tourneys

The six-team "First Republic of Korea Ambassador's Cup Lao Baseball Championship" was held from 9 January to 27 February

The Women's and Men's teams of Lao J Brothers Baseball Club, managed by Sung-Uk Je, won the first Korean Ambassador Baseball Tournament, played in Laos from 8 January to 27 February.

Six teams participated in the tournament, including women's and men's Vientiane High School teams, the National University of Lao and Lao J Brothers.

The development of baseball in Laos has been strongly supported by former Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) gold glove catcher Man-soo Lee, who is now serving as the Laos Baseball Federation's vice president.
