The Netherlands won the baseball tournament of the inaugural European Super6. The title was awarded without playing a final because of inclement weather. Also the final of the softball tournament had been cancelled on Saturday.

The hosts were proclaimed winners after finishing round robin play with a perfect record (4-0; also the final game of poule play against Belgium was cancelled)  and after beating rivals Italy (9-8 in 10 innings) and Spain (12-10 in a game shortened to 8 by rain). They would have met Italy, that defeated Spain 8-5, in Sunday’s final.
