Rain Delays for Afternoon Games in Seoul

Opening day at the XXV IBAF 18U Baseball World Championship on August 30 was rained out completely and the games were re-scheduled for September 4. Today is that Tuesday and it’s raining again in Seoul, Korea. The first two games, set to start at 10am, Japan-Czech Republic and Venezuela-Colombia are currently in a rain delay. Please check the website and our Facebook page regularly for updates on the situation and the schedule.

Today is that Tuesday and it’s raining again in Seoul, Korea. The first two games, set to start at 10am, Japan-Czech Republic and Venezuela-Colombia are currently in a rain delay. Update: The rain has stopped and the grounds crews at Mokdong and Jamsil Stadiums are getting the fields ready, while the teams are warming up. Venezuela-Colombia is scheduled to start at 11:15am at Mokdong Stadium. At 12pm at Jamsil Japan-Czech Republic is supposed to follow.

Update: Both morning games are underway. Due to the delayed start the following games will start 45 minutes after the completion of the previous game.

Update: Games #1 and #2, Venezuela-Colombia and Japan-Czech Republic, were finished. However the following games Netherlands-Korea and Chinese Taipei-Italy are in another rain delay right now.
