Taiwan Professional Women’s Softball League: Eagles, Wasps in championship series, starts Saturday

All games will be live-streamed by Fox Sports Taiwan. The best-of-seven series will begin this weekend with the first four games.

The Kananan Eagles and New Century Wasps will meet this weekend in the championship series of the 2020 Taiwan Professional Women’s Softball League (TPWSL), the highest level of softball on the island. The Eagles flew into the finals as the top-finishers of the second half of the regular season, while the Wasps stung the Lions, three games to two, in the semifinal series.

The Eagles and Wasps finished the second half with identical records at 13 wins and 3 losses. The Eagles recorded the best overall regular season record (24-8), which propelled them directly to the finals.

The first two games of the championship series will be played on Saturday, 7 November, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m (local time). Games 3 and 4 are scheduled for Sunday, in the same time slots. If necessary, the series will continue next weekend with the last three games before crowning the Taiwan softball champions.

Fans from around the world can watch all games of the 2020 TPWSL Championship Series on Fox Sports Taiwan.
