WBSC holds successful Baseball Umpire clinic in New Zealand

Baseball Umpiring Commission Chairman Gustavo Rodriguez instructed on 2 and 3 umpire mechanics and rule interpretation. Baseball New Zealand Director of Umpiring Warren Van Rooyen organized the event

WBSC  held an umpire clinic for 25 students in New Zealand. The clinic was held by Gustavo Rodriguez, WBSC Baseball Umpiring Commission chairmen.

The event was organized by Baseball New Zealand Director of Umpiring Warren Van Rooyen, who described it as “successful, students listened and performed well.”

The clinic was about rule interpretation and the 2 and 3 Umpire Mechanics. At the end of the clinic students had a chance to work through their mechanics in a game.
