WBSC takes Baseball5 to Weihai, China
Chinese Baseball Association Vice Secretary General Ding Feng said that the event was “very successful” and that the Country looks ready for the launch of Baseball5 tournaments. A total of 84 coaches participated in the event
WBSC took Baseball5 to China. The new urban version of baseball-softball was introduced into the Country through a Seminar hosted on 27 and 28 April by Weihai, a 2.8-million city in eastern Shandong province.
A total of 84 coaches participated in the seminar.
After an introduction to the rules, the participants were made familiar with the game format. The seminar ended with a game demonstration.
“The event was very successful,” said Chinese Baseball Association Vice Secretary General Ding Feng “In China, we are now ready to get started with this exciting new sport.”
After the WBSC seminar in Weihai, the Chinese Baseball Association will now work on launching Baseball5 tournaments in the Country.
