影片:慶祝世界棒壘球總會U-18男壘世界盃日本奪冠滿兩個月

日本在相隔四年後以五局、9-2擊敗澳洲,再次拿下壘球青年項目冠軍。

兩個月前的三月1日,世界棒壘球總會 U-18男壘世界盃決賽在這天日本與澳洲的比賽,亞洲巨人拿下這個青年項目的第三座冠軍。這一天稍早,捷克擊敗阿根廷拿下他們男壘歷史上首座獎牌。這是首屆世界棒壘球總會U-18男壘世界盃,這個新的項目取代了之前的青年壘球世錦賽(U-19)。

這個歷史性的賽事聚集了全球十二個國家,爭奪世界冠軍頭銜。阿根廷、澳洲、加拿大、捷克、新加坡與南非在A組;丹麥、瓜地馬拉、日本、墨西哥、地主紐西蘭與美國在B組。

首次來自四個大洲都有代表的球隊進入世界棒壘球總會U-18男壘世界盃前四強,再次傳達出壘球在全球的觸角。日本(亞洲)、澳洲(大洋洲)與捷克(歐洲)上到了頒獎台,阿根廷(美洲)最後是第四名。

從個人角度來看,日本的 Hitto Nagayoshi 拿下MVP榮耀,並且入選全世界明星隊二壘手。共有五個國家代表了全世界明星隊:澳洲、日本、捷克、紐西蘭與阿根廷。

日本與澳洲以超級循環賽前兩名進入世界冠軍賽,捷克與阿根廷則進行銅牌戰。

日本在相隔四年後以五局、9-2擊敗澳洲,再次拿下壘球青年項目冠軍。日本首次冠軍是1981年在加拿大艾德蒙頓的首屆青年壘球世錦賽,接著是2016年在美國密德蘭。

這場勝利後,日本第十一度在青年世錦賽拿下獎牌,成為最成功的球隊,其中三度金牌、四次銀牌與四次銅牌;加拿大八度奪牌,一面金牌、兩面銀牌與五次銅牌;澳洲與紐西蘭分別拿下七座獎牌。澳洲五次金牌則領先日本的三次。

Jakub Osicka獲選為錦標賽最優秀投手,在銅牌戰扮演關鍵腳色帶領捷克拿下男壘世界盃隊史首次獎牌。這位右投手投出一安打完投的比賽,一共送出13次三振,以 2-0擊敗阿根廷。
