USA-Italy rained out at The World Games, updated schedule released

Following the suspension of Game 3 between Japan and Australia, the game scheduled at 7 p.m. between USA and Italy at The World Games has been postponed as well. The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced the games for Sunday, including the rescheduling of the two postponed games on Day 1.

Japan and Australia will complete their suspended game at 12:30 local time, after Japan’s match against Mexico, that remains unchanged. Japan is winning the game, 10-1, after four innings of play. On the other hand, USA and Italy will play their postponed game at 6:30 p.m. 

The other three games originally scheduled for Day 2 have changed their starting times. Italy and Canada will meet at 1:30 p.m.; Puerto Rico and Australia at 4 p.m.; while USA will close the day playing Chinese Taipei at 9 p.m.
