The Europeans were helpless in their tries to stop the Mexican rampage. The host of the tourney scored six runs in the first, seven in the second, 11 in the third, nine in the fourth and 12 in the fifth en route to the lopsided victory.

Luis Urias collected six hits and six runs in eight plate appearances. Sergio Macias and Cristian Carrion combined for ten hits and ten runs. Four pitchers shared the workload, facing just one batter over the minimum. They were perfect except for a couple of hit batters.

Lithuania now has lost all three games in the tournament, two on Friday. They now can try to regroup on the weekend, as they have Saturday and Sunday off before taking on Chinese Taipei on Monday.
