The Hong Kong Baseball Association proudly announces its hosting of the “Asia Insurance Phoenix Cup 2013 – IBAF Hong Kong International Women’s Baseball Tournament” for its sixth time in a roll since 2008.
The tournament will be held in 18-21 January 2013 on Hong Kong’s Sai Tso Wan Baseball Field and Lion Rock Baseball Field. Seven teams from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan will be participating in the tournament. The “Phoenix Cup” being an international event of women baseball has proven a very successful event that it has successful in attracting teams from different regions and securing financial support from the Hong Kong Special Administration Government, title-sponsorship from Asia Insurance Company and the title support with a trophy from IBAF.
The organizers anticipate an exciting and enjoyable event for all participating teams and audience.
