Baseball Canada is turning 50 years-young in 2014 and has released the image of the newly created 50th Anniversary logo that has been commissioned to honour its past leadership and the time served as the national governing body for baseball in Canada.

Baseball Canada’s National Teams will wear the 50th Anniversary patch in all 2014 international competition. The maple leaf-centered logo, cast in Team Canada’s signature red and black, will also be displayed at all nine Baseball Canada National Championships during the 2014 season.

The newly designed logo will be featured on promotional material in both web and print forms.

“We are very proud and excited to celebrate our history and our great game in 2014,” said Baseball Canada President Ray Carter. “Fifty years as an organization is a significant milestone for Baseball Canada and we look forward to servicing our membership for many more years to come.”

Tomorrow, January 11th in Toronto, the logo will be on display at the annual National Teams Awards Banquet and Fundraiser.
