Baseball in schools in Tanzania: intensive training on 15 and 16 July
MBEYA, Tanzania-The Tanzania Baseball and Softball Association organized 2 days of intensive training for students of Iyunga Secondary School. Japan International Cooperation Agency coach Hiroki Iwasaki coordinated on the field; 50 teachers certified
The Baseball Softball Association of Tanzania, under the supervision of Secretary General Alpherio Moris Nchimbi, organized 2 days (15 and 16 July) of intensive baseball training for the students of Iyunga Secondary School in Mbeya, Southern Highland of Tanzania. The training was coordinated on the field by Hiroki Iwasaki, a volunteer coach of the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).

Brother Alpherio Nchimbi commented: “Alongside the clinic for players, we completed the training for teachers. We certified over 50 participants”.
