German Academy and Eagles Prague to represent Europe at Pony Baseball and Softball World Series

Prague, Czechia, hosted 37 teams for the Continental Qualifiers on 22 and 23 April. The German Academy won the U-14 and U-16 baseball tournaments, while Eagles Prague topped the U-16 softball tournament.

The German Academy (U-14 and U-16 baseball) and Eagles Prague (U-16 softball) will represent Europe at the Pony League World Series 2023 after winning the continental qualifiers in Prague. Czechia.

The German Academy won the 14-team U-14 tournament, beating Italy's Falcons Torre Pedrera, Czech Academy, SBS Baseball Academy, London Archers, Lithuania, RP Outlaws, EAST Austrian Academy, Israel, NL Orioles, NL Angels, Desant Mykolaiv, Future Stars, and NL Twins.

In the 12-team COLT U-16 baseball tournament, the German Academy also finished on top after prevailing over NL Giants, London Archers, Czech Academy, NL Braves, Czech U15, NL Rays, SBS Baseball Academy, Angels Trnava, Poland, Izrael, Future Stars, and Vindija International.

Meanwhile, Eagles Prague won the 10-team COLT U-16 softball tournament, where they topped the all-Czechia podium ahead of runners-up Fun&Play Prague and third-placers SaBaT Prague. The other participants were Piranhas Beroun, Blue Angels, SBS Academy, Joudrs Praha, Lithuania, Ukraine 1 and Ukraine 2.

Pony Baseball Softball has been a WBSC Associate Member since 2017.
