Young players of 15U from Chinese Taipei, Korea, Japan and Regional All Star Team of Matsuyama participated in the Asia Challenge Match 2012 in Matsuyama City, hosted by The Yomiuri News Paper, Japan Amateur Baseball Association (JABA).
The 3-day round robin tournament was won by Japan (3 wins – 0 loss) followed by Korea (2-1), Chinese Taipei (2-1) and Matsuyama (0-3).
Konosuke Tamura of Hirakata Boys Club was chosen as VIP with 8 hits out of 13 at bat, 1 homer and 7 runs batted in.
