Juergen Elsishans confirmed as German Baseball Softball Federation president

He has served in the position since 2019 and received a unanimous mandate at the General Assembly in Regensburg to carry out another two-year term.

The German Baseball Softball Federation (DBV) confirmed Juergen Elsishans as president, getting a unanimous vote during the Annual General Assembly in Regensburg. Elsishans will be continuing his role for a two-year term.

Elishans has held the position of president since 2019 and has been on the DBV Board for 20 years. He was vice president of competitions before 2019.

Alexandra Stuckstaette, Nicole Broziewski, Markus Pollmeier and Hauke Brockman were confirmed as vice presidents, and Armin Zimmermann succeeded Uwe Sacherer as treasurer.

The delegates also voted on commissions and rights bodies, of which Sven Muencheberg will serve again as chairman of the Scoring Commission and Tim Meyer was voted to fill in one of the two co-chair positions in the Umpiring Commission.

Since there was no other candidate who earned enough votes to fill the second co-chair position, the Executive Board will select the second co-chair in the next meeting. The executive board, commissions and rights bodies will also serve for a two-year term.
