Korea outscores Czechia after rain delay

Korea and Czechia were Day 2's first game of the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup. The Czechs had a chance to score first when they loaded the bases in the top of the second.

The Korean U-12 National Team started their WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup with a win.

Korea outscored Czechia, 14-0, after a game that was split into two parts by heavy rains.

Korea used two big innings to score their runs: eight in the second and six in the third after the rain.

The Czechs had a chance to score first in the top of the second when they loaded the bases with two outs. Reliever Juhyeok Lee struck out center fielder Adam Stastny to end the threat.

The win puts Korea at 1-0, while Czechia falls to 0-2.
