Media accreditation open for WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup in Hermosillo, Mexico

All members of the media, both local/national and international, who plan to cover the U-18 Men's Softball World Cup must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at https://my.wbsc.org.

Media registration is open for the WBSC U-18 Men's Softball World Cup to be played in Hermosillo, Mexico, from 11 to 19 November. The deadline for registration is Thursday, 7 November.

All members of the media, both local/national and international, who plan to cover the U-18 Men's Softball World Cup must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at https://my.wbsc.org.

The accreditations procedure starts by clicking on MEDIA ACCREDITATIONS. The online request form needs to be completed, also including a headshot.

Those media intending to cover the event remotely should contact the WBSC Media Department by writing to media@wbsc.org. Once the request is submitted, media members will receive an automated email confirmation that their application has been received.

Another automated message will indicate a "change of status" in the accreditation request.

Media members can check their request status after the registration deadline, 7 November, by accessing mywbsc.org and clicking SEARCH FOR YOUR ACCREDITATION on the top right of the page. They will then need to enter their name, last name and email address.

A pre-tournament press conference will be scheduled. Details will follow at a later stage.

The WBSC will share a protocol for media interviews during the IX WBSC U-18 Men's Softball World Cup with the accredited media before the tournament opens.
