The Mexican National Softball Team confirmed their 16-man roster to play the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup Group A in Hermosillo. Four players repeat from the 2019 National Team that finished 11th in the World Cup 2019, Mexico's last appearance in the competition.

The staff is composed by Jesus Lerma, Mario Humberto Perez and Julio César Guerrero, who led the team to a silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, joined by Carlos Soto and Carlos Parra.
Jesus Rene Cardona, Ruben Delgadillo, Edgar Lopez and Alan Osuna are the four veterans from the 2019 team, and will mentor a young group of players from last year's youth squads, including five players from the U-23 National Team that finished fourth at the World Cup 2023 (Diaz, Peñuelas, Solorio, Jesus Valdez and Jose Valdez) and three from the U-18 team that finished second in the World Cup in Hermosillo (Del Valel, Diaz and Parra).
Mexico will make their debut in Group A against Czechia on Wednesday, at 20:30 local time, at Fernando Ortiz Stadium, in what could potentially be a key game for the final standings in the Opening Round.
