Mexico walks off Panama to end exciting pitcher's duel

Mexico beat Panama in a classic pitcher's duel between two baseball powerhouse nations. Alfredo Magana went the distance for the win, allowing only six hits. Herminio Vega allowed only three hits over five innings of work but suffered the loss.
Mexico took the lead in the second on a solo homer by third baseman Ezequiel Rivera, but Panama tied it in the top of the fifth on a groundout by center fielder Jaime Escudero.
Mexico loaded the bases in the sixth against reliever Emmanuel Herrera. Catcher Jonathan Beltran hit a one-out walk-off single to end the game.
