Milan Zonic confirmed as Serbian Baseball Federation president

Zonic first played baseball in Serbia in 1989.

The Serbian Baseball Federation re-elected Milan Zonic, 46, as its president for the 2022-2026 term.

Zonic, who prior to becoming Serbia President in 2018 was the federation's Executive Director, was a former catcher for the national team having started playing in Serbia in 1989.

Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic was confirmed as the secretary-general while the assembly also elected Dusan Milovanovic, Momcilo Koijc, Slobodan Bogdanovic and Djordie Ajdukovic as members at large.

The Serbian Baseball Federation, currently ranked 51st in the world rankings, was founded in 2006 and is a World Baseball Softball Confederation member. It is in charge of organizing national championships in three age categories and managing the National Teams.
