Minister of Youth and Sports honours Tunisian Baseball5 National Team

Kamal Daqish was impressed by the performance at the WBSC Africa Championship and by the co-ed Tunisian National Team ranked No. 4 in the world. He hopes to see Tunisia compete in Baseball5 at the 2026 Youth Olympics.

The Tunisia Minister of Youth and Sports Kamel Deguiche honoured the Baseball5 National Team for winning the 2024 African Championship and qualifying for the II WBSC Baseball5 World Cup.

Dr Deguiche stated through the Ministry's Facebook Page that he was impressed by the National Team's performance and congratulated the players and the National Federation President Saber Jlajla.

The Minister also highlighted the fact players performing on the international stage serve as Tunisia's sports ambassadors.

Dr Deguiche also commented on the importance of a co-ed Tunisian National Team at No. 4 in the WBSC World Rankings and expressed his hope to see Tunisia qualify for the 2026 Youth Olympics.
