The amateur baseball development experience will feature over 80 top diverse (predominantly African American) high school pitchers and catchers.

Major League Baseball (MLB) and USA Baseball announced the return of the Dream Series, an amateur baseball development experience for pitchers and catchers, from 13 to 16 January.

The event, hosted in connection with Martin Luther King Day (Monday, 16 June), will be held at the Tempe Diablo Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Angels, featuring over 80 top diverse (predominantly African American) high school pitchers and catchers from 20 US States and Washington DC.

MLB pitcher Hunter Greene, a Dream Series alum and his Cincinnati Reds teammate Justin Dunn will serve as guest instructors on day one.

The list of instructors is headed by Mike Scioscia, a former MLB Manager of the Year and World Series winner who managed the US at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The list includes former New York Mets, Chicago White Sox manager Jerry Manuel and former MLB players such as Marquis Grissom, Howie Kendrick, LaTroy Hawkins, Kenny Hill, Darren Oliver, Marvin Freeman, Darrell Miller, Lou Collier, Brian Hunter, Tye Waller, Marcus Jensen, Tom Gregorio and minor league players and coaches Anthony Manuel, Stan Kyles and Antonio Grissom.
