More surprise in the U-15 Baseball European Championship: Germany upsets France

WIENER NEUSTADT, Austria-Pool B of the U-15 Baseball European Championship attracts attention: after defeating favorite Italy, France surrendered to Germany. Qualification to the semi finals is a big question mark

A poor defensive outing (4 errors) costed France a 11-7 loss against Germany in the opener of day 3 in the U-15 Baseball European Championship. The win makes Germany the only undfeated team in pool B and makes the race for a spot in the semi finals really appealing. Germany will play Spain on Thursday and Italy on Friday. Spain will play France on Friday.

In group A Czech Republic and The Netherlands look to most like the clear favorites. The Dutch nevertheless needed a strong come back and capitalized on 3 defensive errors to beat Poland on just 6 hits.
