New Zealand’s 18U Team travels to Arizona

The Baseball New Zealand 18U National Team is currently in Arizona attending the highly sought after Arizona Senior Fall Classic, where they will be showcasing their skills in front of many College and Professional scouts.

Baseball New Zealand was invited by the founders of this Arizona showcase to participate in this prestigious series of baseball tournaments and scouting weekends. The owner is a top official with the Seattle Mariners, thus providing a closer connection with a top MLB franchise. More information on the owners:

Classic Baseball is directed and managed by Tracy Heid and family. Her husband, Ted Heid, is the Coordinator of Special Projects International for the Seattle Mariners. The Heid family takes pride in creating a family friendly environment with the focus on helping facilitate a player’s dream of playing baseball beyond High School.

This is a Junior National Team setting in a major global sport; this is a serious opportunity for all of those named to the squad to take the next step in their baseball careers and it is our coaches’ job to send the most talented and hardest working players to the United States or elsewhere while representing their nation.
