Olympic House inauguration and IOC Session to be streamed live on the Olympic Channel
On June 23, 2019 the International Olympic Committee will inaugurate the Olympic House, the new headquarters of the IOC and the Olympic Movement. This day also marks the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the IOC.
On June 23, 2019 the International Olympic Committee will inaugurate the Olympic House, the new headquarters of the IOC and the Olympic Movement. This day also marks the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the IOC.
The headquarter is designed around three key values/objectives: movement, flexibility and sustainability. Recently the IOC presented the building as one of the most sustainable buildings in the world. The gathering will also be the occasion to host the 134th IOC Session
In addition to the inauguration and the Session, IOC will also celebrate the awards ceremony of the Olympic Golden Rings for the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 and the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, as well as the announcement ceremony for the decision on the Host City for the Olympic Winter Games 2026.
