President Fraccari will attend the World Baseball Classic presentation

IBAF President Riccardo Fraccari will be attending the World Baseball Classic press conference, scheduled at 1.30 pm local time (10.30 pm CET) in San Francisco‘s AT&T Park. Fraccari will confirm the IBAF sanctioning of the event, that will award the winners as the World Champions starting the 2013 edition.

The press conference is hosted by President and CEO of the San Francisco Giants Larry Baer and by Edwin Lee, the Mayor of San Francisco.

Paul Archey (the Senior VP, International Business Operations of MLB and the President of the World Baseball Classic Inc) will disclose international venues, pool composition and schedule of the tournament.

Tim Slavin (Director, Business Affairs & Licensing MLB Players Association) and Felipe Alou (Former Giants and Team Dominican Republic manager) will also attend the press conference.
