WHAT: The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the world governing body for baseball and softball, invites you to the presentation press conference of the VIII Women’s Baseball World Cup (22-31 August).
WBSC has 206 National Federation and Associate Members in 135 countries and territories across Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
WHERE: USSSA Space Coast Stadium, Banquet Room on first base concourse, 5800 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne Florida 32940.
WHEN: Tuesday, 21 August at 4 pm (US Eastern).
WHO: Captains and Managers of the participating National Teams will attend the press conference, together with National Team Media Officers and Interpreters.
FACTS: WBSC will test during the VIII Women’s Baseball World Cup a set of new rules aiming to accelerate game tempo: a 12-second time limit between pitches, an automatic intentional walk, a time limit of 90 seconds between half innings.
Players and managers will be available for interview and photo opportunities after the press conference
