Puerto Rico Double-A Women's Baseball League ready for All-Star Game

The event is scheduled for Sunday, 13 November, in Domingo Ruiz de Arecibo and will involve 60 players.

The top 60 Puerto Rico Double-A Women's Baseball League players will compete in the All-Star Game at the Gregora Tejada Stadium in Domingo Ruiz de Arecibo on Sunday, 13 November.

The list includes pitchers Janiliz Rivera, Danna González and Angelis Rivera; position players Diamilette Quiles, Luz Feliciano, Nachaly Rivera, Adrix Paradizo, Kiara Resto, Eva Torres, Lisandra Berríos and Tiesh Díaz who represented Puerto Rico in the Women's Baseball World Cup Qualifier.

The Northeast and Northwest selections include 30 players each. The players will participate during the day in two contests: the most profound hit and the throw to second.

Roberto La Sombra Santa will manage Northeast. He selected the team from Poetas de Juana Diaz, Vejigantes de Ponce and Artesanas de Las Piedras.

Kevin Gonzalez, manager of the defending champions Las Lobas, will manage Northwest. He selected the team from Las Lobas, Ladies de Guanica and Cafeteras de Yauco.
