Puerto Rico Superior Double-A League to open on 11 February, 2024

The Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico announced the date after celebrating the Youth and Women's All-Star Games.

The Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico (FBPR) announced that the 2024 Superior Double-A League will open on 11 February at the Juan Cheo Lopez Stadium, the home of the defending champions Areneros in Camuy.

The 2023 season is not over yet for the Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico

The South Team beat the North in the Youth Double-A League All-Star Game in a slugfest, 16-14, at the Tomás Palmares Stadium in Dorado. The two teams combined 38 hits. Jared Vega's RBI double proved the game-winner. He was honoured as the MVP. Reliever Edwin Garcia earned the win.

The Northeast team shut out Southeast, 2-0, at the Julio Papo Davila Stadium in Vega Alta in the Women's Baseball League (LBF, Liga de Béisbol Femenino) All-Star Game.

Diamilette Quiles, who is leading undefeated Lobas de Arecibo, managed Northeast. Her pitcher, Noelia de Jesus, threw three innings for the win. She was honoured as the MVP.

The other individual awards went to Claudia Ortiz (Juana Diaz) for the best throw to second base and Luz Feliciano (Arecivo) for the deepest hit.
