H.E.C (Pakistan Varsities) Baseball Team won Gold at the National Women Baseball Championship 2013 in Pakistan. On Saturday HEC defeated KPK 16-2 to claim first place in the weeklong tournament.
Miss Zainab Shaukat Chairperson Organizing Committee, Miss Noshi Javed Vice Chairperson Women Wing (Pakistan Federation Baseball) and Miss Hurria Hussain Secretary Women Wing (Pakistan Federation Baseball) welcomed Chief Guest Madam Jugnu Mohsin for the final game. At the end Madam Jugnu Mohsin Wife of Chief Minister Punjab appreciated the game of both teams and wishes that Pakistan Woman Team bring laurels for Pakistan from abroad.
At this occasion Mr. Shaukat Javed President Pakistan Federation Baseball, Syed Khawar Shah Secretary General Pakistan Federation Baseball and Executive Director (West Asia) Baseball Federation of Asia, Mr. Khalid Mahmood Chief Executive Pakistan Olympic Association, Idris Haider Khawaja President Pakistan Cycling Federation and Mr. Jamil Ahmad Rana Secretary Pakistan Tug of War Federation were also present.
Lt. Gen (R) Syed Arif Hassan President Pakistan Olympic Association was the Chief Guest on the Opening Day of the championship.
