Soft drink giant SodaStream becomes official sponsor of Israel National Baseball Team

The Israel Association Baseball (IAB) announced that SodaStream, the Israeli carbonated water global brand, has partnered to sponsor the Israel National Team at the World Baseball Classic (WBC), which begins on 6 March in Seoul, Korea.

TEL AVIV — The Israel Association Baseball (IAB) announced that SodaStream, the Israeli carbonated water global brand, has partnered to sponsor the Israel National Team at the World Baseball Classic (WBC), which begins on 6 March in Seoul, Korea.

Israel will be competing in the WBC for the first time ever and will feature the SodaStream patch on their game-uniforms, jersey and hat.

“As one of Israel’s leading multi-national companies, SodaStream is the perfect partner as Team Israel heads into the WBC to compete against nations from around the globe. Team Israel will wear the SodaStream logo with pride,” said IAB President Peter Kurz.

Israel will compete in Group A in the First Round of the WBC at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome along with host Korea, Chinese Taipei and Netherlands.

WBSC’s 16 National Federation/Members have so far added 23 sponsorship agreements as part of the World Baseball Classic, the most in the global tournament’s history.
