The U-15 Baseball Euros down to last games of pool play

WIENER NEUSTADT, Austria-In the U-15 Baseball European Championship The Netherlands and Czech Republic qualified in pool A. In pool B the 2 teams to play in the semi finals will emerge from today’s matches Italy-Germany and France-Spain

The last day of pool play in the U-12 Baseball European Championship is going to be a key day.

In pool A the matchup between The Netherlands and Czech Republic (tied at 3-0) will clear which team will get into the semi finals as the number 1 seed. Austria (2-2), Poland and Russia (0-3) will play for places from 5th to 10th.

In pool B things are much more interesting, since the only team eliminated is Lithuania (0-4) and France, Germany, Italy and Spain are all tied at 2-1.
The schedule will help pick the 2 teams for the semi finals, since France and Spain open the day and Italy and Germany close it.

Semi finals are scheduled for Saturday 22 July. The winners will qualify for the 2018 U-15 Baseball World Cup and play for the European title on Sunday 23 July at 6 pm CET.
