USA and Japan score big to open Day 6 of the U-12 Baseball World Cup

TAINAN, Chinese Taipei-Day 6 of the U-12 Baseball World Cup takes off with easy wins for USA and Japan. Games on the main field delayed fron 10 until 12.30 because of rain

USA completed there run for first place in group B of the U-12 Baseball World Cup with an impressive 20-3 win against Germany on 16 hits, including home runs by first baseman Atomancyk, his substitute Rice and thirdbaseman Abel.
The defending champions made it clear scoring 7 runs in the first off starter Brand. Even if Germany tried to fight back and scored 3 off USA starter Pierantoni, they ended up being outscored in 4 innings.
Olivera and Arambula struck out the side in third and fourth german at bats.

Team USA Trent Abel may not have the size yet, but he has home run power

Japan scored 31 runs in 3 at bats, including an 18 run third inning, on 23 hits. South Africa had to use 6 pitchers (Mc Clelland, Damons, Mc Kenzie, Carelse, Botes and Campbell) to get the 9 outs.
