The USSSA European Pro Series, presented by WBSC, will see the USSSA Pride, one of the teams competing in the Women’s National Pro Fastpitch league in the USA, play exhibition games against 3 top European National Teams: Italy, Czech Republic and The Netherlands. The series will start in Italy on 24 April.
The 3 host National Federations have organized a number of events that aim to promotion of Women’s Fastpitch Softball in the respective countries.
The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 April, in Milan (Italy). The USSSA Pride will hold a clinic for the U-15 All Star of the Italian Region Lombardia. The event is open to the coaches.
Czech Republic has also organized a clinic for one of their youth teams (very likely the U-19 National Team).
A USSSA Pride delegation, including 3 players, will be appearing on the National Television news.
In The Netherlands the Federation organized 3 events. On Monday, 30 April, and Thursday, 2 May, the Pride will hold clinics open to players of the youth categories. On Wednesday, 1 May, their clinic will be part of the programme of Softball Against Cancer.
The USSSA Pride European Tour will also reach France. On Friday, 4 May, the Pride will hold a clinic at the Softball Academy of France in Boulouris, Côte d’Azur.
