WAPDA wins Pakistan's 16th Women's National Baseball Championship

Pakistan is currently ranked 19th in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Rankings.

The Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) team won the 16th Pakistan Women's National Baseball Championship 2022, defeating two-time defending champions Army, 13-12, in the championship game.

The Higher Education Commission team defeated Punjab, 12-2, in the third-place game and earned the bronze medal..

The tournament was played from 8 to 11 February at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala, north-eastern Punjab.

Punjab, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtonkaw, Sindh, Islamabas and Police teams also participated in the national tournament.

Pakistan is currently rated 19th in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Rankings.
