WBSC announces CARNEXT as WBSC Global Sponsor

As a staunch supporter of the Samurai Japan programme, CARNEXT has extended its support to the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup to deliver excitement, top-level sports entertainment and competition to the fans, and to further the goal of empowering women.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced CARNEXT as its newest Global Sponsor for the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup through to the Premier12 next year. The Japanese company is a property of RAXUS, which is a WBSC global sponsor. CARNEXT will be a presenting sponsor for the upcoming WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group B in Miyoshi, Japan from 13-18 September.

CARNEXT, an Osaka-based company that offers a B-to-B online car-buying service that can be completed over the internet, has been actively engaged in its sponsorship activities since 2021, including the 2023 World Baseball Classic Tokyo Pool.

As a staunch supporter of the Samurai Japan programme, the company has extended its support to the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup to deliver excitement, top-level sports entertainment and competition to the fans, and to further the goal of empowering women.

The Women’s Baseball World Cup will be held for the first time since 2018 and has been dominated by the Japan women’s national team, which has won six consecutive titles since 2008, following two runners-up finishes in the first two editions.

The defending champions will host Cuba, France, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and world No. 2 and 2018 Baseball World Cup runners-up Chinese Taipei in September.

Meanwhile, the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group A will take place in Thunder Bay, Canada from 8-13 August featuring Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico and USA.
