WBSC Europe announced that 22 nations will participate in the Women's Softball European Championship 2024, scheduled to take place in Utrecht, the Netherlands from 1-7 September.
The Women's Softball European Championship 2024 will utilize the fields of the UVV softball complex, along with the Domstad Dodgers Ballpark. The Nieuwegein Diamonds and the Centrals/Wombats in De Bilt fields will also play host to this prestigious event.

The European Championship will be the second major women's softball event on the Old Continent this year with Italy staging the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals, from 15 to 21 July.
The Netherlands, host of the tournament, enter the tournament as the reigning European champions. They secured the title in the 2022 edition held in Sant Boi, Spain, by topping Great Britain in the gold medal game.
