Philippines Softball Association to host clinic for high school, college students

The Philippines women's softball team had a busy and successful 2023, being the most improved nation in the 2023 WBSC/KONAMI Women's Softball World Ranking, jumping up 17 spots from No. 31 to No. 14.

The Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) is organising a clinic for high school and colleges students to take place on 27 January. International and professional players like Erika Piancastelli, Jazmyn Jackson, Madi Huskey and Shannon Rhodes will host up to 100 players during the clinic.

Power Pitch, "the ultimate ASAPHIL Softball Clinic", will take place on January 27, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM, at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium in Manila. 

The Philippines had a busy and successful 2023, being the most improved nation in the 2023 WBSC/KONAMI Women's Softball World Ranking, jumping up 17 spots from No. 31 to No. 14.

Both the Men's and Women's National Softball Teams are ranked in the same position, becoming the highest ranked Philippines National Teams, and the only Filipinos teams in the top-20 in the world ranking across all sports.
