TAICHUNG. The weather situation in Taichung hasn’t seen any improvement, which causes more postponements at the XXVI 18U Baseball World Cup. After already all six games on Friday, August 30 were rained out; also all six games on Saturday, August 31 had to be postponed. Local organizers and the Technical Commission made the decision in the afternoon. As of now Sunday’s schedule remains the same as announced prior to the tournament.

• Game#9: Canada-Chinese Taipei cancelled due to rain.
• Game#10: Japan-Venezuela cancelled due to rain.
• Game#11: Cuba-Colombia cancelled due to rain.
• Game#12: Italy-Australia cancelled due to rain.
