The South American nation revealed an 18-athlete preliminary roster ahead of the Americas Softball Olympic Qualifier, slated to be played in Surrey, Canada, from 25 August to 1 September.

The CBBS unveiled the 15-athlete roster to participate in the Americas Softball Olympic Qualifier, to be held in Surrey, BC, Canada, from 25 August to 1 September. Besides, Brazil named the roster for the WBSC U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup, slated to be played from 11-17 August in Irvine, USA.

World No. 3 Canada announced a 24-athletes preliminary roster for the 2019 Women’s Softball National Team, highlighted by two-time Olympian Lauren Bay Regula, and Beijing 2008 veterans Danielle Lawrie-Locke, Kaleigh Rafter and Jennifer Salling

Six Tokyo 2020 Olympic Baseball/Softball qualifying events will be staged across Canada, China, Chinese Taipei, Italy, Japan, Netherlands and USA.

WBSC Members and affiliated National Teams will have the opportunity to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games exclusively through eight WBSC international tournaments, four for baseball and four for softball.
