The US U-12 National Baseball Team is undefeated after three days at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan, Taiwan, knocking off two baseball superpowers in the process and becoming the first squad to clinch a place in the Super Round.

After taking down world no. 1 Japan on Saturday, the United States on Sunday gained their third consecutive win as they defeated the Dominican Republic in five innings, 10-0.

The Americans didn't waste time and scored in the bottom of the first when left fielder Colin Anderson got to starter Marlon Polanco with a two-out double, scoring Jonah Saken from first.

Catcher Cristian Matos homered in the third to break the score open.

The US used a seven-run fifth inning to close the game one inning early, tagging Dominican relievers Enmanuel Castro and Loren Gutierrez.

Levi Kerr earned the win going the distance and allowing only two hits, while striking out eight.

USA (3-0) is off Monday, while 0-1 Dominican Republic will try to rebound against 2-0 Korea in Group B action.
